A Handbook for Health Professions Interns in Uganda
The Interns handbook has been put together by the African Center for Global Health and Social Transformation (ACHEST) in partnership with the Health Professions Education Initiative (HEPI) at Makerere University College of Health Sciences and the Ministry of Health (MoH) Uganda. It was funded by Forgarty International Center of the National Institutes of Health, USA.
Professor Sarah Kiguli of Makerere University College of Health Sciences, the Principal Investigator of HEPI is appreciated for her support during the preparation of this Handbook. Appreciation is conveyed to all the individuals who have contributed to the content of the Handbook.
The work was globally recognized and applauded in the Health Workforce Resilience Awards hosted in February 2020 by the Human Resources for Health in 2030 (HRH2030) Program.
