Aims of the ADRD Supplementary Grant

1. To enhance Health Professions’ Education (HPE) and training to produce health professionals who are competent to address the priority health needs of Uganda focusing on Alzheimer Disease (AD/ADRD).

Targeted Activities: Enhancement of AD/ADRD research team training scheme for undergraduate, graduate and faculty

2. To strengthen the capacity of graduating health professional students and faculty conduct research related to AD and ADRD

Targeted Activities: Support formation and growth of AD/ADRD research group

3. To enhance institutional systems to sustain transformative health professions education in Uganda for AD/ADRD.
